Pros

Highly experienced CRO who looks after sales He'll send you books to read Global team seems nice enough.

Cons

You will be a self employed contractor in the UK (no benefit, holiday/sick/pension) Despite the current climate in hospitality little to no help is given to you to achieve your goals. Very little sales training (once per week - call review) post the two week onboarding. Onboarding process is just learning the software and demoing it. Once this is done you are told no to demo to prospects and will essentially be an SDR for the Sales directors Two sales directors based in CAN are overly protective of their relationships with named accounts and will never introduce you to corporate. The Sales directors are not leaders. They are just very experienced sales people. You will essentially have to work the property from ground up. If you are not meeting the required KPIs you will be belittled in an email to the global team.

Pros

Having utilized Book4Time in the past running spa businesses at enterprise companies, I am not surprised that I am having the great experience that I am having now working at Book4Time. I knew going into a conversation with B4T that it is a top tier brand with a global reach and respected by many in the spa and wellness industry. I was laid off of my dream job at an exclusive members only club in NYC due to the Covid19 Pandemic. My options were to go back to an old company, hunt a new company that would offer me the constant versatility I crave, or make the career pivot into the tech sector that I always have known I would eventually make. I reached out to Ayaz, the Recruiting Manager at Book4Time via LinkedIn. The company is is located in Toronto and I am in NYC, so naturally I was expecting NOTHING, I asked if they have ever hired outside of their region and Ayaz gave me some detail, a confident answer and we scheduled some time to talk. Ayaz is one of the most responsive and insightful recruiter that I have ever met. We had a great conversation and I moved through the process to meet my now boss and a couple senior pro members of the team who know the in's and out's of the business well. I was offered the position and was kept in constant communication the entire way through. Onboarding was the most thorough onboarding process I have ever experienced. The HR manager and the Training Manager were so detailed, kept an open door and did not leave a question answered. Working remotely there is a lot that has the potential to get lost in translation, but not here. Soon after the first couple of days I got a chance to meet with the CEO of Book4Time and the fact that he takes time out of his day to meet with his new hires, have a conversation and answer any and all questions speaks volumes about the culture this company prides itself in. My boss has sent me books off of amazon and great literature to bring me up to speed. And it's little gestures like this that are unexpected, but make the world of difference and add an additional layer of support to a... remote, new hire, working from A DIFFERENT COUNTRY, in the middle of a global pandemic. The past few weeks have been great, especially now that I am going into more role specific duties and I am looking forward to and hoping to achieve a long and rewarding career with Book4Time!

Cons

None as of right now, everything has been grade A.
