Pros
Decent, above average compensation; some remote work options for those who were hired in the past.
Cons
It was an exciting opportunity to join Boomi right at the time when the separation from Dell officially started. But things turned bad with the new CEO and CRO. These roles are expected to be leaders, but I call them Risks because here at Boomi, they show nothing of any leadership and appear to be here solely to cash-in big salaries. There was a hiring surge in 2022 seemingly without any planning or concept. Early October then came layoffs, and those were so random that it was impossible to understand how people were selected for termination. Several people were let go and now there are plans of hiring for the exact same roles again, which may cause legal issues for the company. The company is in dire straits to make revenue and they are desperate to make money any way they can. Even suppliers are now required to purchase products or they face losing Boomi as their customer if they don't. People are negatively addressed and discouraged by senior management during meetings and in front of others. Demotivating employees will not help the company to turn around for the better. What has become very clear to me was that the company does not care about their employees at all. There is no sign of the slightest responsibility for employees, partners, nor customers.
