some management can be toxic, just like any other place.

A lot of product ownership, especially early in my career, which has been very confidence-boosting. The team is casual, friendly, and easy to work with. It’s a remote-first environment, and people are generally focused and independent, which makes it easy to get into a flow.

That same level of ownership can sometimes be challenging, you're often responsible for figuring things out yourself. In my first ~6 months, the lack of structure and hierarchy was a bit frustrating. Work can also feel a bit isolated at times, as you may not always interact with every part of the product.
