Pros
Good benefits, good technologies to work on.
Cons
BorgWarner as a company and the leadership as much as they state they're innovative, fast moving, etc, in reality they don't do anything innovative. Every single project I have been part of is a result of customer pushing the requirements. There is so much potential to create new and innovative solutions but none of the leadership seems to be as interested as they're in the finances of the projects. Now I understand any company has to make money and importance of financials. I think the company is lacking in many fronts - innovation, attracting top talent, etc. On a personal level, I have had a lot of satisfaction for the first couple of years or so and then when I want to move to other roles. I took training and worked hard to get the certifications. Neither my manager nor HR is really interested in advancing me to the next level. Now anyone may be critical of me and say that there is something lacking in me, but I have checked all the boxes and writing this review after one year of facing issues after issues. Leadership doesn't seem to exist in the truest sense. I have asked repeatedly for feedback and mentoring and heard back nothing. Very hard to learn unless you move to another division or go to a competitor.
