Pros
Great products, great people, really unique culture. AMAZING work life balance - I can't emphasize this enough as it's really unparalleled. Unless you get a terrible manager generally speaking they are very flexible with start/stop time, working from home, etc. A great place to work when you have a family and need to manage school schedules, sick kids, etc. Even in the worst/busiest of times the long hours don't last long and they still paled in comparison to my experience at my previous employer.
Cons
Pay seems to be lower than market, benefits are average to below average. Very little career path/growth opportunities. Hire a lot of contractors and never seem to make them FTE - I was FTE but observed poor treatment of my contractor colleagues (not invited to important meetings, etc). Lots of managers that have been around for eons and are just focused on politics. Never saw a worker bee promoted, just saw managers shuffled around. No matter how great your performance reviews are it seems to go nowhere - small effect on your bonus, but it's not substantial for individual contributors. Would LOVE to stay with this company being where I am in my career I'm not confident I'll continue to be challenged, and I'm not OK with doing the same job for the next 30 years.
