Pros
Working outside, alongside with some of the best friends I have ever had made this job great. Not a single day was I dragging out the door to go to work. I was challenged every day in all different aspects which forced me to grow as an employee but mainly a worker. I have learned the ups downs ins and outs of working in a stone quarry.
Cons
Unfortunately Braen Stone(Sparta) is run by a couple of morons. The company has Local 472 stamped all over it in hopes of gaining dependable employees. Yet the only purpose of having a contract under Local 472 is more than likely for cheaper insurance. I say that because as an employee at Braen Stone Sparta you are treated like an un loved step child. You don’t matter, the reality is that you are a pee-on just like everyone else. You will work your behind off for two morons to make all the money, then when push comes to shove, then will not stick up for you like the company slogan claims. “Service Integrity Respect”
