Pros
Every "pro" I can think of has a "but..." Two years ago this would have been a glowing review, but unfortunately the culture has shifted in a negative way through the past year. While this position was flexible as it is remote, they slowly started taking a lot of that flexibility away. Overall, the main "pro" would be the relationships I formed along the way and experience gained.
Cons
FedEx is a struggling market and this company is clearly losing money as a by product. It used to be a company that empowered women, mothers, etc. to work at their convenience around their busy schedules, but has become a regular corporate 9-5. It used to have the tight-knit family feel, but they started mass firings including people who had been with employed with BFR for years and that had established strong relationships within the company. If you want job security, look in another direction. If you get hired on, especially during peak season, don't expect to still be an employee by the end of January. If you want a remote job with flexibility, this is no longer a position I would recommend. If you want transparency from management, try again! They claim transparency, but there are a lot of behind the scenes management discussions that they don't tell you about until things are already in full swing. A lot of the reviews on here are from very new employees or the very few employees that have evaded being laid off (for now). A year ago I also would have left a great review, but unfortunately that is no longer the case.
