Pros

Great innovative company. Leveraging novel cloud based technologies. Passionate employees. Some leaders are very good and emphatic with really incredible knowledge.

Cons

Clearly very troubled and incable leadership, mostly in Europe. Lack of trust and micro-management, favoritisms of some employees. There is absolute trust and dependency of the senior leaders at HQ in SFO and therefore no belief in own staff in Europe. Very little transparency on strategy and solutions. Some services and products are oversold and non-existing and will only be developed when customers are asking for them. Work/life balance is supposed to be considered, but in reality it's expected that you work full time on Europe time - and then also work on SFO time too which easily makes it 10-14 hour days. Actual example was to start at 6AM with Vietnam team - then work normal hours in Europe - go home and wait 2 hours and then work all evening with SFO team until 10PM.

Pros

After years of hard work, it's incredibly rewarding to see our mission, our products, and the market all clicking into place — this alignment has been a long time in the making and it's finally here. We have real proof points that show we can positively modify human behavior so patients benefit more from life-sustaining therapy, which is the kind of impact most people in healthcare only get to dream about. On top of that, it's genuinely exciting to work for an AI-forward company that is actively reinventing the way it works in the service of customers — we're not just talking about transformation, we're living it. Growth in patient impact, customer experience, and BrightInsight's financial performance will be the story of 2026.

Cons

We are challenging everything — the way we work, the priorities we focus on, the market we're aligned to. It is daunting and exciting in equal measure. People do work really hard here (a theme in other reviews), but it will be worth it.

I have to start this response with my compliments for the Inga Rose reference. One of my absolute favorites. Beyond that, thank you for such an optimistic and exciting review. You talk about things that we experience everyday in a manner that drives energy and commitment and makes us feel as if anything is possible. Thank you! - SVP, People

Pros

Flexible work from home policy.

Cons

The company lacks a clear long-term direction and has struggled with stability over the past few years. There have been frequent rounds of layoffs, coupled with low employee retention and ongoing turnover within the leadership team. Teams often operate with minimal resources, and internal processes, particularly within HR and Operations, feel disorganized and underdeveloped, which can make day-to-day work challenging.

Thank you for your review. We have been working "on the business" while not losing focus on our customers and the priorities we've attached to them. Can't argue that we are operating with lean teams committed to doing big things. At the same time, we have a clear sense of where we are going and how we will get there. This is a really good time to be at BrightInsight. - SVP People
