We are sorry this person didn’t have a positive experience while working at Brighter. However, we would like lay out the facts of the PRA role to ensure candidates have the correct information available:
• Since the beginning of 2016, we have promoted 9 (of our total 18 (at the time, now 26)) employees in the Provider team. 6 were promotions to Senior PRA, 2 were promoted to Team Lead (with one more Team Lead to come in Q2 2017), and 1 promotion to senior manager.
• The Provider team has also been an excellent incubator for talent in the rest of the organization. We currently have former Provider team members working in Product Development, Engineering, Client Services and IT.
• The Provider Relations Associate Role is a training role for entry level employees. For those that are very successful in their role, we promote them to Senior PRA, and then to Team Lead (as required by the growth in the department). Senior PRA’s receive significant increases on both their base salary and commission.
• When we hire for this role, we make it clear to incoming PRA's that there is a tremendous amount of growth opportunity within the company and outside of the company for folks who approach the role with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. However, sometimes the role is not a good fit and we do our best to accommodate team members when it is not working out by providing a soft landing. We have found that, in almost all cases, PRA's develop valuable new skills and an understanding of the inter-workings of a successful technology company backed by top tier Venture Capital firms.
