Pros
- connected to Intact Insurance - assistance from your fellow colleagues - not stressful -3 weeks vacation (management is pretty flexible in taking vacation/personal days off) - great place to start off if you haven't worked at a prior brokerage
Cons
- training could be more organized ( I remember when I started here there wasn't even a training program and I pretty much learned along the way) - ageism (management tends to have more leniency towards the older people) - needs new branch manager and team leader. - branch manager show favouritism towards certain employees - targets can sometimes be unattainable (sales, "care calls") - no support from your branch manager in terms of company advancement or insurance courses - the company acts like it is not a billion dollar brokerage when it comes to spending money on employees yet senior management can have catered lunches
