Other than your paycheck, BB does not offer any noteworthy perks and benefits. For instance, they do not pay anything towards your 401k plan; no company match. BB used to contribute 90% of employee benefits when “family” was on payroll; but with them off of payroll, the company health care contribution percentages have fallen towards 50%. In 2022, they were still paying some production employees $10 an hour. Now, I think that's up to perhaps $13 or maybe $14 an hour. In Jan. 2023, the company cut a large number of employees but abruptly changed their Paid Time-Off (PTO) Policy 2 days prior to terminating the employees t o avoid paying people their warned PTO. The initial PTO policy allowed for employees to earn PTO based on their hours worked and the policy allowed for those earned PTO hours to be carried over into the next year. Also, the policy stated if you leave the company, the company would pay the unused PTO hours on your last check. Well, with the new CEO, the company intentionally reneged on some 20 or more employees who were cut. I saw the whole ordeal as wrong.
