Pros
This is a family owned company! As such, if a decision needs to be made, we can call the owner! When work needs to be taken care of, the owner is involved. He will come to our park to handle the problem if it is within his scope of expertise. He will come and supervise if it is not in his tool belt. Working here feels like a family and "dad" will always make sure that it is a happy home!
Cons
The only negative thing which I have noticed is that our company name is similar enough to another large cemetery corporation that we are occasionally mistaken for being part of their company. This is negative because they are a terrible company to work for. I speak from experience as I did some time there. This is not necessarily a con to working here but more of a heads up to be aware that sometimes people may confuse the two and a small clarification can make all the difference in your interpersonal communications.
