C-suite plays favorites strongly in favor of those who have been with the company since the beginning. No clear direction on company goals and they sometimes will make decisions without context that affect lower level employee's workloads and sometimes even career trajectories. DEI is minimized and often ignored in favor of profit. Most (if not all) diversity initiatives and efforts come from the people of color at the company with minimal support from management. Many things are treated like fire drills contributing to high stress and longer hours, particularly for middle and upper management. Significant employee turnover in the last year, little room for growth.
