Pros
- A few really nice and inspiring people here you can learn from - A couple interesting clients - Depending on the particular project lead, there was encouragement for new ideas - prioritization of employee work/life balance
Cons
- There’s a pattern here: periods of heavy hiring, then 6-12 months later, a very unsettling period of heavy layoffs. In this time even if you had PTO for 1-2 days, you’d come back to sometimes multiple cryptic emails that so and so were “no longer with the company”, no reasons given - Clients started to not renew with this agency, and often ended up bringing testing services in-house - Newer, experimental company roles not working the way the top-heavy leadership team here wants them to, leading to more layoffs - A culture that started to reward the “loudest person in the room” during meetings. It wasn’t always like that when I first joined, but those coworkers became the ones leadership praised and wanted to hear from, even if their approach could be abrasive and unwelcoming towards others
