      Pros

      Interesting projects. You will learn a large range of skills and job duties. A small to mid-sized GC like Brown is a good introduction into the commercial construction industry.

      Cons

      Joe has a hard head and is a hard man to work for. Unfortunately, he is also the boss. The company ebbs and flows with Joe’s hits and misses.

      Pros

      Exposure to the concrete/construction industry if you're looking to start a career in it. Especially going to concrete pours to help. You can learn a lot if you have no experience. Many are willing to teach as well. You will need to be patient though if you want to learn how to finish concrete.

      Cons

      Pay raises can slow and at times really hard and heavy expectations arise.
