They lie on job descriptions and you just end up being the gopher in the office and at the events. If you think you're getting any sort of Marketing, Operations, Sales, or Sports Management experience or internship you're not. They're just going to use you to do stuff for them and it's a horrible position to be in. I was completely catfished. Do not work here! Management is so rude and condescending. You get overworked and little pay with no regard to your physical or mental health. There were several times I was put in a position to be in harms way or be involved in an accident due to their ignorance and lack of judgement. Common job description items such as the ability to lift heavy objects or drive 25+ miles a day was never mentioned in any job application or interview. If I had known this was going to be my entire internship without learning anything, I would have never applied. They never take an opportunity to get to know you and just stick you right away going on wild goose chases. Not to mention their gas reimbursement rate is significantly lower than what the average reimbursement rate is. So basically your entire paycheck goes to pay off your gas bill because the reimbursement is way lower than what it costs to fill your tank. A shame for a time where gas prices are high.
