Pros
It is a fairly easy job if you can get along with the people. The hardest part is understanding that you can't make everyone happy.
Cons
It is a very hostile work environment with many irritable people. Technicians work seven consecutive work days with short breaks in-between shift rotations. They work several 12 hour days as well. Some technicians want the overtime, but they end up sleeping on the job and becoming irritable at work. Once a month, there is a five day break but it is cut short to adjust to a new shift. The technicians very well paid, but become miserable at their jobs and cannot attain comparable employment anywhere else in the county.
