Pros

Had a great trainer and learned the basics in an entry level position. The people were friendly and the environment was casual.

Cons

The stability of the company was inconsistent. They began moving positions out of state. There became less and less open communication. They didn't replace those who left. The remaining employees had to take on the workload without additional help.

Pros

There are few late nights.

Cons

The buffet industry is slowly dying. Raw food costs are too high to profitably run an all-you-can eat buffet. Management from A D on up to the top are so scared of losing their jobs that they will not support store management on important issues. There is an active campaign to reduce overall salary compensation. There is no "inclusion." Everything comes from the top down. Food quality on food bars has diminished over the years due to the purchase of the cheapest product available. Continued reduction of the few benefits the employees have. Do you really want to work for a company that has gone into bankruptcy twice while the CEO gets huge bonuses for "guiding" the company through bankruptcy even though he "guided" the company INTO bankruptcy. Store managers, in dozens and dozens of locations run a manager or two short and there is no focused effort to fill those positions when each management position not filled saves the company fifty grand or so in salary and benefits.
