Amazing people and great work/life balance, but pay is low - Anonymous employee Buildout Employee Review

Everyone is really great. Like really great. They're helpful and want to do their best by their customers and their peers. People trust you to get your work done, and I'm learning on the job constantly. Never bored. I feel like I'm getting amazing work experience while also loving the people I have to spend 40 hrs a week with. Also, Helen is a force to be reckoned with. We had to do a restructuring/some layoffs recently, which was hard, but putting Helen in as CEO was an excellent call made by all. I feel very optimistic right now

Private equity owned means a certain level of red tape and approval processes (but senior leadership does a good job of protecting us from that). CRE is a hard industry to be in right now, but the product is sticky so it helps knowing that our customers need us

Great work life balance. No micromanaging. Good people.

Very unorganized company. Pay is very low compared to average AE jobs in tech sales. You will have to learn the whole product suite by yourself as a new hire. Only 1 person on the AE team hits quota on a monthly basis. Commission structure is very low. No real chance to grow at the company.
