The position is not advertised correctly - Operations Analyst Bulb Employee Review

Pros

It's not a bad job, but it is falsely advertised. Employees are friendly and welcoming. It's a young team that is still learning.

Cons

1. Operations Analyst position is the same as Energy Specialist, which is not made during an interview process. 2. Make no mistake, it is a call center position. There are little to no "analytics" involved in this "analyst" position (which is unusual). At least 4 days a week are spent on the phone, talking to clients trying to pay their bills or move. 3. No psychological training is provided, even though some calls are really emotionally tough (eg. disconnecting people's energy). They also fail to ask if you feel comfortable making such calls during an interview process. 4. Work hours are 8:30 to 6:30 and lunches are scheduled. This is also not openly advertised. 5. The company tries to hire highly educated individuals with master's degrees but instructs those individuals to use "bulby" language, which is basically a language you would use with a 6-year-old.
