Pros
- Initially they make you feel very welcome.
- Most colleagues are genuinely kind and supportive.
- Remote work environment.
- Exposure to international clients.
Cons
- Pay rises and bonuses are minimal and seem tied to the company's shaky financial situation, not to what you actually deliver. The company has struggled to make a profit for the last few years.
- Upper management style relies heavily on criticism and pressure, which contributes to a toxic environment, low morale, and unnecessary stress. At times, I saw managers speak to people in ways that would not be acceptable in most workplaces.
- Little consideration for team members' personal time. Even if nobody says it directly, you are expected to work in the weekends or outside working hours to catch up.
- Workload is consistently unrealistic, with tight deadlines and minimal support. Burnout is common, yet concerns raised by employees were rarely addressed in a meaningful way.
- There are no clear career development opportunities, and progression feels limited. No honest appraisal process and no clear steps to move forward.
