Buro Happold Response
5yHi There - Thanks for taking out the time to share your inputs. Pleased to hear about your feedback on our payscale and the quality of exposure you got on our projects. At the same time, I'm sorry to know about your work-life balance situation. We have had a particularly tough year in 2020, much like most of us in the industry - and I agree we have had to accommodate some changes where our personal and professional lives got blurred, while we work from home. There are some measures we put in place - setting up a Global Employee Assistance Program so our people can seek counselling in the privacy of their homes 24*7, a team of Mental Health First Aiders and putting in place a 'No Meeting Focus Friday' policy. I have also taken note of your comment on increments, and I'm sure you are aware increments in BuroHappold are decided purely basis performance, not just by the line manager but together with the entire team of project leaders you have worked with during the year, so any personal bias could be eliminated.
We still have some way to go and we are learning, but I hope that you can reach out to your local HR and share some examples, that can help us improve as we step in 2021. Thanks again and I wish you the very best in your career.
