Pros

Strong culture with a really great team; fully remote and flexible; opportunities to create a path based on your skills and interests.

Cons

The nature of consulting work means that people are often either swamped or having to seek out work to do.

Thank you for the positive review! We are very proud of our culture and very aware that we need to ensure our people’s schedules and capacity is balanced with the needs of our clients. We’ve introduced processes and policies around scheduling (such as weekly scheduling calls, forecasting systems, planned over-capacity / hiring) so that we can be more proactive to ensure that our people are not over-worked while enabling us to exceed our clients’ expectations.

Pros

BSI (Bursting Silver) really does let you put family first. There is very supportive management that listens to your ideas and personal and professional needs. Each team member has a voice in decisions. BSI was remote before remote was the new norm and has the leaders to make it work. Leaders are very open in sharing company status and when COVID hit in 2020, we were kept updated on company projects and changes. Working at BSI was a wonderful experience.

Cons

Onboarding was a little bumpy and currently is being reviewed, but I was able to ask for help when I had a a question. Although there is a generous three week vacation and Christmas week time off, and you can take off when sick, there is not an official sick day policy that is rolled over.
