Associate positions are micromanaged by senior management. You can't get up to pee without having to tell your manager or supervisor. Every email is ripped apart and scrutinized by senior management.
Associates, which are mostly made up of recent post-undergraduates with varying degrees, are expected to know all business acronyms and jargon or be ridiculed by senior management when they don't know the meaning.
The opportunity for professional growth is non-existent. Promotions are meaningless because the work is exactly the same as the entry level positions as it is in higher ones but with higher stakes.
You are pigeonholed to the one role you were assigned and if you express any professional interest in contributing something additional to the company, which would ultimately benefit everyone and the business, you are dismissed as being insubordinate.
Seriously don't accept any position at this company.
