Pros
This position was very hands on, with the opportunity to execute creative solutions independently. It was also a great chance to network with Visual Designers, as they rotate designers for each window display installation. The internship is unpaid, but you receive a letter of recommendation from the owner, Kay. The managers are awesome to work with!
Cons
Unpaid internships are not for everyone. The role involved a lot of painting and prep work, and you do have to get your hands a little dirty. It was a decent amount of grunt work.
