Pros
- Great for engineering college students because there's morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.
- Lots of exposure to different areas of programming. You can learn Python, C, Unity, etc
- Lab manager Fernando really looks out for the mentors and is super friendly with everyone
- There's no formal step by step lesson plan, so you have a lot of room for creativity when teaching
Cons
- Can get hectic when understaffed and you have to deal with multiple kids at once
- Lack of strict lesson outline can be a little difficult if you're just starting out but learning how to teach others helps you learn the material better anyway
- Monthly pay
- Dealing with kids who have no respect for authority is always difficult, be ready to keep calm
- Sometimes they ask you to be in charge of certain tasks and it's a little unclear for what purpose, but I suppose you'll get that in any job
