Pros
I've been in the B2B events industry for about seventeen years now, previously working for two larger organizations. In that time, I experienced how broken the industry was, prioritizing profits over client success, catering to overpromised paid sponsors over end user attendee experience, and employees being treated poorly. I think that if you look at a lot of reviews of other B2B event companies, you'll notice a similar trend. C-Vision International is the first organization that I can say that I feel confident when I get up in the morning, knowing that I'm part of an organization that is trying to break that stigma. I feel like I can confidently reach out to prospects knowing that we will deliver what we say we will. I take comfort in the fact that we are a relationship/partnership focused organization whose values are rooted in the success and positive experience of our clients and communities. I am confident in doing my job, because I know that if I have an opinion/thought/concern that I will be heard, and not have to worry about losing my job just because I'm not just "going with the flow." I believe the founders of the company truly want to put their employees in the best position to win. Taking all other concerns off my shoulders, helps me focus on my job. It's rare in the B2B events world to see sponsor clients and attendees proactively praise event companies on social media. I'm proud of the results and value C-Vision drives, and even more proud to be a part of the organization.
Cons
Fully remote staff sometimes makes it difficult to build relationships with your peers and can cause a lag in getting a response to a question (versus being able to turn to a colleague sitting next to you, and ask a question). Can also cause some challenges for non-self starters who sometimes needs to feed off the energy of others around them, or individuals who learn better when they're hearing someone else do the job.
