Pros
At least at my center, I feel somewhat autonomous in my pedagogical method. C2 provides the general goals for the kid to achieve, and I decide how to get the kid there. I like that. Pay is competitive, which is good. I've never experienced having a solo kid taken from my table and being left with nothing to show for it, as another reviewer has. I don't believe that's company policy - they allow you to do 'office work' for half pay if any scheduling gaps occur. That said, scheduling is entirely up to the discretion of the center management, so if your center management wants to treat you like a nobody and leave you with no kids to tutor, well ... maybe you should try moving to a different center?
Cons
Lack of communication about company direction, parent feedback (unless it's negative - then we hear it!), job performance. This situation probably applies only to me and my region, but it seems to me that there's a glut of English tutors with too few kids to go around. I'm feeling the lack of hours, there. If C2's goal is 3 kids per tutor, the hiring managers should be more conservative about taking on new tutors.
