Pros
Pro's the office is newer and pretty nice. Lots of nice little nooks and crannies and lots of space to work. Lots of great office rooms for meetings or for private office work. Standing desks I love those! And need them for my back.
Cons
So when I started it was two days a week in office. Now they are pushing on us three. But firstly that was not what I agreed to when I was hired. So in a sense it goes against the agreement I made when I started. Also not just myself but many people question the purpose since the parking lot is so full on the work at office days, it becomes difficult to find a spot. They force us to work in the same little areas as our team, but that area is always full so I have to work in another area which I like. Becuase I do not like the micro management of being made to stick to one little area when the office has so many other interesting working areas. Plus only so many standing desk located in the area my immediate team sits that I have to if I want a standing desk go to another area. But it is a little bit of a turn off that every group meeting we had that isn't canceled last minute, the main topic has been "you will have to come to the office or else" So I didn't work there in the old days pre-pandemic. But I can tell you even as a newer employee most of the staff doesn't want to work in office more than two days a week. And I can tell you as well the cafe there is terrible the food is overpriced and it tastes gross. The location of the office is by the airport and there are no other places to eat, so you must bring your lunch. Coffee is not even provided. The main issue is though when you advertise a position as a hybrid position please don't start changing the days randomly. And lording down that you muist come in these days. It was not agreeed and it destroys trust. Finally please fix the water pressure the other thing is every single toilet wont flush your business.
