Pros

The only pro is a consistent paycheck

Cons

Where do I begin.... The technology being used is so outdated and the things that are coming down the pipeline aren't event very intuitive. Some of the least fulfilling work I have ever done in my career has taken place at CatFi. Employees gave feedback about horrible work life balance all for leadership to turn around and set a mandatory return to office policy when they don't even come into the office 5 days a week themselves. Not to mention company metrics were at an all time high when employees were able to work from home but who cares about that right. Teams are HORRIBLE!! There is so much micromanaging going on at this company it's ridiculous ! Along with working for and with managers and team leads who don't know what they are talking about at all, they are only in position because they've been with the company since they got out of undergrad. Company culture is TERRIBLE. Everyone who I speak with hates working here. From new hires to senior employees. Most senior employees in fact are electing to retire vs dealing with how things have transpired at this company. If you are thinking about working here DON'T. I PROMISE you it will be the worst decision you will ever make in your corporate career

Pros

Nice people (the ones in the trenches). That's about it.

Cons

-constant 'quiet' layoffs since start of 2026 -ridiculous IT processes (if you can call them that - how anything gets done is honestly a mystery) -never say no to a project despite all the resources being way over stretched -5 days in office -instability and misery This used to be a fun place to work - it isn't anymore and not just because of the 5 day RTO mandate. Project management was recently gutted and the 'replacements' haven't run IT projects in years. Other layoffs all over the organization, no announcements or justifications. One team had to draw straws to see who would stay or go. Everyone feels a target on their back - FTE, long term FTEs, contractors, business and IT. No one is safe. Conversations everywhere about how bad it is and how toxic and the worse part is no one knows why. What are the goals of these cuts? Where is the direction or justification? Oh that's right - there isn't any other than saving money. People leave or get cut and you find out one day when someone isn't in a meeting. DO NOT come here. It will take years for this place to recover and they won't be able to hire anyone back because their local reputation is done. May the odds be ever in your favor.
