Pros

Company has Herndon and DC office for staff to commute. I don't think of any Pros. 3 weeks of leave/sick for employees and good number of federal holidays. Work pace is slow in accordance with what federal government wants. Free Tea/Coffee provided.

Cons

Company has lost many projects in the last few years so hardly any major projects are going on. Private projects are not fetching much money. Loyalty of employee is preferred over performance. Employees and contractors are treated equally. It is better to join as a contractor if you are desperate. HR forces you to join as employee to save money but no better benefits than a contractor. HR employees are arrogant and very slow. Tools/Software/Practices used by HR are outdated. Highly cost conscious company. Bad/Old furniture, broken chairs, projectors and crammed rooms. Poor Benefits - High premium health care plans, 401k matching is very low and bonus is unheard of. Not even christmas lunches are well planned. Poor Commuter benefits. Some benefits are on paper only but do not get approval from HR. No Training provided to employees.

Pros

Huge turnaround on this company. Original owner, Cindy Troutman passed in August 2025. Ms. Troutman, a very kind person, never learned how to actually manage a company. Decisions were made by emotions rather than sound business practices. Under new management, the company has cured its cash flow position. Employees are well treated at CGH now. There is now a management structure appropriate for a federal contractor.

Cons

None noted now as the company has fixed its main problems.
