Pros

Very nice when you start, but it's all phony. HR goes above and beyond to lure you to the location being as remote, but once in your department, you discover why it's hard to get and retain employees. Did offer forum for feedback. Good people who were there, but often week to week would disappear. Wants to be 5 Star, I don't see it without a lot of cutting corners.

Cons

Management was nice, but under involved. They don't actually carry out what they tell you will happen coming in the door. It's healthcare. No surprise there. Equipment rarely worked, biggest issue. Want quality studies, purchase quality equipment, not just the ancillary items like tape or gauze like your plethysmography belts. Not good enough. Techs would try to hoard the quality equipment for themselves. Everything was constantly needing to be repaired or replaced. Little accountability. Management had no experience with Sleep Technology, but wanted to run both Respiratory and Sleep departments (automatic red flag, I saw the results of that now at 2 different companies). Technologists did not follow all protocols due to assigned work (short cutting) that had to be rushed to clock out before overtime.

Pros

Make your own schedule Great coworkers

Cons

Low pay for the work they expect to get done. If you are injured on the job, don’t expect time off-none given. They will give you a desk job. Management will hound you to work extra days/nights.
