Pros

Weekly pay; Opportunities to work on projects at different locations; Most colleagues are personable and helpful; If there is another department you’d like to learn about, there is no limit to learning/shadowing in those areas

Cons

Politics heavy; Doesn’t look after the mental and physical well-being of employees even when a serious ER issue is presented; New management staff too busy with trying to control team instead of learning proper managerial techniques & tool to keep team together; Rude and dismissive (equally biased) Sales Management especially when they know they can’t get their way

CITY HOME Response

Thank you for your thorough feedback. More than ever before, the mental health condition of our Associates became a top priority for CITY this past year. We brought this topic to the forefront through well thought-out awareness campaigns while widening our umbrella of services, mainly through our Employee Assistance Program. We continue to refine and transmit our Safety procedures in response to emergencies on-site. Also, we are beginning to implement a Leadership Development Strategy which was designed to tackle, among others, the instances you mention pertaining our management.

Pros

2020 and maybe 21,22 were good after it all went down hill (thanks to AH )

Cons

Everyone is related , friends , family etc. HR is all friends with eveyone there for you cannot be taken serious . So many talented associates leave because they are forced out due to personal preference. Turn over company wide they say is low. However the location I worked in 80 precent of people were 6 month or under ! Yikes !!! Management does not know how to keep and lead their team , instead they micro manage , make up new rules that they do not follow after a few weeks and they always seem stressed. Oh and bonus program is constantly restructured . They present it as new opportunities however it’s really for them to pay less. This company always pays very low percentage and you have to jump through hoops that are on fire to make a bonus. And I wasn’t some employee who worked 6 months and quit. I was someone making 90k yearly for several years. This is just a reality. Higher management needs traning asap. And insurance gets worse every year !
