Pros

Remote work. Flexible and relaxed

Cons

Stay away from the hedgehog and his concubines. Amazing how easily one IT contractor fools, manipulates and radicalizes a whole battalion of flying monkeys and queen bees to get what he wants and to cover his behind. If you are an HSP or INFJ personality type pray that don’t suffer a sensory overload resulting in a seizure or nervous breakdown especially if it’s your first time. The narcopaths here will put you and your family through the ringer. If you are a smooth criminal like this IT contractor and adept at manipulation, exploitation and projection you are a savior and a demigod helping the company for X number of years. Never helps anyone but himself or anyone that he can benefit from and management allows him to do whatever he wants. Anyone that he feels is a threat to him or his business with the company, he’ll start a smear campaign It’s always the employees who get the short end of the stick so he gets what he needs. It’s a testament to the incompetent mid level managers and directors. Clueless HR and ethics have no idea who gets paid what by him, how he pays to get people on his side. They won’t stop short of grievously injuring you to suck the life out of you and blame everything on you and your family. Make a mountain out of a mole hill, take things out of context, manipulate the situation and circumstances around, turn positives into negatives, grossly highlight 1 negative and make extreme accusations to screw you and make you doubt and question your reality and sanity to the point where you believe you are the one playing games. If you work here, never say I can’t breathe. Psychos will indeed make sure you stop breathing and play the victim.

Pros

Great for learning how to work in an office setting. Site visits were really cool. Intern events were fun. Worked on projects with the communication engineering team that genuinely helped them.

Cons

The communication engineering department is a little understaffed, they need a few more engineers.

Pros

Decent Government style benefits, on site cafeteria, volunteer events

Cons

I hate to say it, but the organization is going downhill. Employee morale is low in many departments. Working from home opportunities are becoming rare pushing talent elsewhere. Benefits are getting worse by the year. Leaders are micromanaging and the pressure is starting from the top. This is the first time I’ve considered leaving the organization since I’ve been here about few years. I really thought I wanted to retire here, but they are no longer investing in employee well being. They are simply worried about how the view is.
