Pros

The day I walked out the door

Cons

During my time there I took a half day off for being sick. It is the unspoken word at CR England you work regardless of your well being. If you don't you could be the next one to be let go. Holidays they say you have it off but they still want you to come in and work. The longer I worked there the longer my hours became each week. Averaging 50-60 hour weeks, working late hours at night and then still going into the office at 6:30am the next morning. This is also expected of you. CR England put out a company wide message saying they wouldn't raise anyones pay, this just happened right after a huge company wide RIF. The ones not let go were told they would have no more layoffs then 3 months later I was let go now calling it a Layoff this time. I guess trying to make it sound like they did't lie to us about our job safety. The thing you need to understand about this company is it is a family ran business. Many positions are filled by family members in upper management that are extremely under qualified and are very well paid for their time. So by having the last name of England they pretty much had a golden ticket regardless of qualification. Many of the England's would be driving brand new Porsches, Audi's and Teslas just to name a few to work. They are known to go out and buy very expensive foreign sports cars and take them all over and race them. Its very hard to go in every day knowing you didn't get a raise or your bonus was cut by 30% and see them pull into work in a $200,000 commuter car. I would think very long and hard before excepting a position from them. Regardless of your tenor you are never safe from layoffs. I watched a guy walked out of the building that worked there over 25 years and less then a year from retirement without even letting him say good bye to people that had worked with him for many years. With the horrible office conditions of course that is passed onto the drivers which they don't deserve. That is why there is such bad driver reviews of this company and massive turnover within the drivers. All of the good experienced drivers have left this company a long time ago, now they are left with inexperienced drivers that cause very serious accidents and could be very dangerous to the publics safety. They expect the drivers to work long hours with very little home time and a small amount of pay.
