Pros

If you don't have any experience in the transportation industry, you'll be able to get your foot in the door and get a good start. My co-workers were great to work with. My direct supervisor was always on top of her game and supported me. They offer health insurance and 401K the minute you start working there, there is no waiting period. Technology is up to date. Office is clean. Convenience store and cafeteria downstairs so you won't have a drive anywhere to grab a bite to eat or a drink.

Cons

Where to start? Definitely more cons than pros at this place. Trucking is hard enough as it is, right? Instead of streamlining and sticking to the basics, they complicate every part of the job. Constant knee-jerk reaction/crisis management coming straight from the senior executives trickling all the way down to the front line staff. I'm still not able to understand how CRE turns a profit with how disorganized the company is. Everyone is under so much pressure to perform 100 percent all the time that the drivers feel the burden. Multiple layoffs over the past few years along with executive management/middle management changes. Tenured employees are pressured to leave/retire. A lot of quality employees have left to find employment elsewhere.
