Pros
There are many great, hard working people here, who are willing to work long overtime hours to support their internal and external customers. Wage are high at a corporate level, but you more than earn it.
Cons
Work/life balance is horrible, especially in IT. IT is underfunded, so most people have to work around the clock. No work/life balance in IT. A few leaders have created a "bullying" culture, leading with fear and intimidation. Most people just keep their heads down. After hiring freezes and layoffs, those that remain have to do the work of 3-5 people and are shown little to no appreciation or support by a few of the key IT leaders. Those who have been faithful for many years are the first to be let go when layoffs come around. Few to no long term incentives or investment in people or training. HR is extremely weak. No real strategy for growth other than to continue buying more companies and bolt them into a fragmented IT architecture that isn't designed to support it.
