Pros
Pay is just about the only thing that is worth it, and even then, they cut corners around raises and paying ppl well. Bonuses are heavily skewed in favor of people the CEO loves. Constantly have to hide pay info or people throw fits about comparing pay
Cons
No formal HR department. The company thinks that HR can be run by dual-function people who have no idea what HR really is. From top of bottom, there are like 3 ppl who know "HR". HR managers are glorified Safety managers. Even those 3 who are good at HR learned on the job and have no formal experience, education or understanding of HR. They make up stuff on the go and bend rules to benefit the company whenever necessary. The CEO is the biggest con artist of all. Career fraud that is primarily focused on production and metrics and could care less about employees as human beings as long as you hit the quota. He acts like he cares about employees and thinks that just because they pay their employees well, they can treat them like dirt. The majority of the leadership is racist and sexist. Almost all conference calls are unprofessional, and it's all about berating or belittling someone. There's constant yelling, back-biting, and condescending conversations. Huge lack of diversity and lots of prejudice. Leadership acts like they care about their employees but in reality, they don't. Every plant has workers working 120+ hours while some work 140+. They encourage overtime and for some employees, they work them into the grave. For every accident or incident, they look for a way out or to blame the employees so they dont have to pay their due. Theres 3 or 4 plant managers and teams that are amazing however, they bend the knee to the whims of the CEO and fall in line.
