Pros
Good co-workers. Flexible schedules. A chance to learn a lot.
Cons
Pay is so low it isn't competitive. Only a few get promoted to higher levels. Raises are scarce. Management is powerless at the local level and have to have the approval of their regional boss for everything. Management spends a lot of time at their desks, away from the public, while staff gets clobbered by donors. Donors can be very hard to please and demanding.
