Pros
It is a easy job.
Cons
Was micro-managed about UPH (Units Per Hour) even though the testing equipment was always broken. No room for growth. I did two weeks of training to become a Certified Level II Tech was never moved to a tech position nor did I get a pay increase. They actually shut down the repair department on 3rd shift. They offered forklift training, but for some reason I was never selected. Was lied to about getting re-hired by my supervisor. I resigned due to a personal reason and was told by my supervisor that I was 100% eligible for re-hire. When I applied to come back HR told me I was in-eligible due to "attendance" even though management preached every Friday during our stand up meeting to stay home if you were sick or around anyone who was sick. Also we were told to stay home if we were getting COVID-19 tested. Apparently they do not excuse doctors notes. Even with a doctors note you still get infractions (points). My wife who also works for CTDI was threatened to get fired due to attendance, but has doctors notes for all of her absences for when she had to take the kids to the doctor. She has been dealing with heart problems and actually went to work with her heart monitor on, instead of asking was she okay, management pressed her on when she was returning to work.
