Pros
Relative job stability if you're working on the PBM side. Once you're in a management role it takes nearly an act of God to be pried from it regardless of personal shortcomings and lack of qualifications.
Cons
Health benefits are extremely lean, only high deductible insurance plan options are available to employees. Poor organizational communication is standard, get used to not knowing where or how to get help for big issues. Turf wars and politics are a huge negative force within the organization, conference calls are a nightmare. Technology is out of date, MS Office 2007 is still the latest version employees are using in 2016. The morale on the PBM side is extremely low, employees are suffering with bad leadership and a lack of interest in employee retention.
