-The owner verbally attacks his employees on a daily basis-sometimes without explanation -While the owner and management talk a good talk, teamwork and professionalism are nowhere to be found; especially when you ask for it. It's looked upon as a sign of weakness instead of a sign of strength for admitting you need assitance -The restaurant industry is tough and grueling but can be rewarding and fun with the right atmosphere and team-Cafe Milano has neither. Especially in the corporate office where no one is there to lend a hand -only to scrutinize and succumb to the every whim and tantrum of the owner -No boundaries-will call, text, email any time and any hour until you are forced to answer -There is no room for a personal life at this job and the rewards are little to none -Employees are frightened by chefs and management, even approaching them in a professional manner and doing your job will get you screaming backlash-anger management issues are the least of it. -No creativity or room for new ideas- they are seen as a burden even though in the beginning they beg you to tell them what they should do differently
