Good company - General CalRob Venture Group Employee Review

My time with CalRob Venture Group has been one of the most influential learning experiences of my young career. The skills I have acquired through working with these entrepreneurs I feel far outweigh any skill set I could have gained in a class room. The experience I have gained from overseeing over $700,000 worth of ventures in just 3 short summers has quickly made me realize what a little hard work and a desire to make yourself better can really accomplish.

This position does take a special type of person, this by far was the hardest challenge I have taken on thus far in my life. There will be times you contemplate quitting but at the end of the day if you can grind through the learning experiences it really is a great experience.

The experience gained through this internship is unlike anything that a college course or previous job has taught me. Having the opportunity to run my own business and learn valuable skills in all aspects of the business realm is well worth the hard work to be successful. My decision to join and run a business has been one of the best choices I’ve ever made. If you want to challenge yourself and have fun at the same time, then I recommend this internship to any college student. It has allowed me the opportunity to move to Colorado becoming the General Manager. As I grow with the company, it’s exciting to help college students gain many skills and further their business development growth through this internship. I have been working with the managing partners and most of the full-time employees for the greater part of 4 years now. There isn't a better group of individuals to work with that have excellent business minds to keep challenging each other and continuing to improve the company every day. In my opinion, the company culture is what sets CRVG apart from other companies.

If you aren't willing to be a hard worker, then this company might not be for you. What successful person has gotten to where they are without hard work? Not many, if any.
