      Great direct manager and team members. High caliber of talent.

      Cons

      No transparency and extremely poor leadership and management causing two massive rounds of layoffs. Pathetic severance package. Concerned more about how we looked to investors than actual employees. Overworked and chaotic processes. Work here at your own risk.

      Truly disrupted non-fiction book publishing in North America in a way that delivered valuable books that otherwise would not have been made by the conventional industry giants.

      Cons

      Grew so fast that the kind of balance was not achieved to enable a longer independent run; was acquired by the largest book publisher in North America.
