Overworked, underpaid & under appreciated. - Production Operative Came Group Employee Review

Training promised and never completed, bonuses that we NEVER get, managers never seem to be short of cash though.. Far too many orders to do within the time frames given. Huge backlogs of returned orders due to damage. Management swan off for 3 hour lunch breaks and leave the workshop staff to complete all the orders with no guidance. Underpaid and overworked, computer is constantly full of emails from the sales staff regarding information they already/should know. Massively Sexist environment, Constant racist remarks about other employees which managers happily chime in on. Huge huge favouritism amongst staff who have hired relatives to work there. Several previous employees have complained about the situation with absolutely nothing being done about it. Managers seem to try and play matchmakers with the employees which makes it an extremely uncomfortable environment (it’s a work place not a speed dating show). I would advise everyone to avoid working here unless it’s an absolute last resort, so glad I’ll be leaving soon.
