Pros
There are very few. Not worth the trouble
Cons
Long hours, bad pay, rude people, if you like being micromanaged by managers and badgered by parents all day everyday you might enjoy this. No breaks. Management is neurotic and on edge, afraid of the rich parents. The parents can be difficult and have unrealistic and unfair expectations . The kids daily activities are great but they are much too over scheduled. Can be difficult to get younger kids across a giant camp field with tons of other kids, to activities in time. They don’t let kids be kids. Or enjoy summer camp like they should. The system is like a military and if you’re not type A you will struggle. Despite supposed free meals there is no time to actually have a break or sit down to eat. Long hours 8-4 sometimes longer by the time you dismiss and by the time you can get out of the terrible parking lot where most of the attendants are super rude to you too! I’d rather work at a fast food chain!
