Pros
- Campos provides a family-like atmosphere for its employees. The fact that it is a relatively small company means that you get a chance to know many of your coworkers on a personal level. - The 9/80 work schedule is a nice perk. The extra day off every few weeks is nice to have. - You have an opportunity to learn a great deal about the industry. Campos is full of many knowledgeable individuals who are willing to help you.
Cons
- The work can get monotonous, as large projects typically contain 50-100 identical pieces of equipment that need to be tested in the exact same manner. - It sometimes seems that management overvalues underperformers and undervalues overperformers. - Working hours can vary day by day, and short notice is sometimes given regarding night and/or weekend work. - There is limited engineering work that is done until you have “put in your time” as a technician.
