Pros

Friendly environment in the office. Almost everyone has an office. Great work-life balance. Fridays off in the summertime and paid time off for everyone during the christmas break. Good health & wellness benefits.

Cons

No WFH or hybrid schedule. It is 100% in the office downtown. Base salary is below average as compared to its peers in the heavy industrial sector. There are no clear targets (%) for the annual performance bonus as there is no transparency. Long-term incentives are all a risk for the employee, not for the company. Very minimal career growth opportunities as people can stay in the same role for at least 7-10 years. Not willing to invest in people. SCM team has a very high turnover (20%). SCM department processes & technology are way below the average. Quite bureaucratic processes, with too much oversight, and with a long culture of micromanagement & perfectionism. Excessive time spent on tactical low value activities. SCM policies are quite dated. Team building events are not sponsored by the company and must be done after working hours. Vacation time is accounted for the travel time done when attending conferences. New graduates leave the company at the very first chance of a better role/compensation elsewhere. There is no loyalty to the company, unless you have been with the company for at least 10-15 years and the stock options stop you from leaving.
