Pros
Honestly, none. Maybe the fact that they pay for lunches when you go into office? That's probably it.
Cons
Total organizational chaos and disrepair. CEO rules with an iron fist and has her clique of minions that bend over backwards to make her happy. They didn't set realistic expectations during interviews about work-life balance and attending conferences that would go well past normal operating hours. There's definitely an expectation to push your personal life aside and prioritize the team and company. CEO doesn't understand that just because this consumes her life that it can still be a job for her employees. Also they just straight up forgot to train me because of a weird-transitional period. And rather than put in the effort to teach me and ramp me up to the full sales cycle, they decided to cut ties instead because it's easier. I was even told when I first started there was a lot of turnover and I fully understand why - not a healthy place to work. They also lie to new-hires about the sales cycle - I was told it was maybe a 3-6 month cycle and then found out it's actually more like 18 months because of the major process changes needed to be implemented within health systems. I never felt like people really made way for me to find a fit into the company, I was just told to do a bunch of tasks without being properly trained and a lack of accountability and oversight made it so easy for things to fall through the cracks on a daily basis. Organizational incompetence. When I accepted the job I was already questioning my future in sales but only 3 months with this company completely sold me on the fact that I needed to make a change and am now working in a new industry entirely.
