Pros
What seemed like a cool company (with free lunches, a dog-friendly office, and an open bar) was only the beginning. What happened when COVID hit really showed what Canva's true DNA was made from. The moment we started to work remotely, every team went into overdrive to take care of everyone at Canva. We had free hampers delivered to our homes from the farms and providers who used to serve us food when we were in the office (to keep us fed and those providers in business during the downturn), live comedians/musicians/talent shows on Friday Night Zoom calls, mental health and wellbeing webinars, free counseling, surveys to check-in with employees, amazing cook-along sessions. You name it - Canva is doing it. They actually couldn't have done more if they had tried. When you have a workplace that fosters such great care in everything they do, it makes every team and every person that much more proud of their work - and it shows through the quality and frequency of amazing work that is put out.
Cons
I can't finish the hamper of food that gets delivered to my house. Honestly, the cons are so negligible it's laughable. There's certainly no place in Australia, if not the world over, that's like Canva to work for.
